A short documentary about the rediscovery and revival of Buddhism in its birthplace, focusing on the work of Anagarika Dharmapala.
This video shows Buddhist monks paying homage at the site where Anagarika Dharmapala, later ordained as Ven. Sri Devamitta Dhammapala, was cremated, at Isipatana Migadaya (Sarnath), near Varanasi, India. Sarnath is the place where the Buddha delivered his first sermon, and Dharmapala devoted his life to restoring Buddhist sacred sites in India.
